As I was shopping in Dollar General the other day, I noticed a cart
upfront that had many different things for 70% off. Among those
things were these various size baskets. Many of them regular priced
at a $1 making them only $0.30 each after the discount!
I wasn’t sure what exactly I was going to do with them, but judging
by how organized my home is, or I should say the lack there of, I knew
that I could use them!
I purchased a total of 4 of the smaller ones and 1 bigger one. My total
before discount would have been $8 for these, which isn’t bad at all.
But after the clearance, I only paid $2.40 for all of them!
I decided to use them for one of my kitchen cabinets that holds, baking
stuff, spice packets, kool-aid and other little miscellaneous things. This
is the worst cabinet in my kitchen! When I want something out of there,
I have to dig around to find it and then everything is always falling out
when I open the door. It’s Bad. But a photo is worth a thousand words,
so here you go….
See? I wasn’t fibbing! After a little work, I was able to condense all this
mess, move things around and got everything nice, neat and organized!
Much Better! Don’t you agree? Now just maybe I will quit
procrastinating and put together that canned food organizer
I got a year ago and put it to use!

I have been putting off using my last two $3/1 Snuggle coupons that I have. However they expired yesterday so I had to go! I decided to go to Dollar General and get their Snuggle that they had on sale for $4. When I made it to the register and handed the Cashier my 2 coupons, she said she could only take one of the same coupon per person. I knew that was not their policy, but since I did not bring my binder, which has the Dollar General coupon policy, I didn’t argue. I just had her take one of them off, I paid and went on my way to another store to use my last coupon.(I have a few Dollar Generals in my area) This is why we should always carry our binders, I could have saved some time and gas today!
